Senoia Area Historical Society

Linking and Protecting Senoia Area History between past and future generations.

The Senoia Area Historical Society (SAHS) is dedicated to preserving the social and cultural history of Senoia, GA.  Membership Dues are $10/year.  Everyone is encouraged to become a part of the SAHS.  You need not live in the Historic District or own a Historic Home.

The SAHS owns a historic house at the corner of Pylant and Couch Streets in Senoia, GA.  A group of very forward thinking Senoia residents, headed by Jack Humphreys, purchased this home in the 1980's as a Museum to house and preserve photos, film, furniture, and memories of Senoia, GA.

Today an active Museum Committe, guided by original SAHS members Nancy Roy and Joanne Utt are working to preserve various collections that have been donated over the years.  Donations are always welcome to become part of the permanent collection.  Items donated "on loan" are also welcome as a temporary collections.

Like any home, the SAHS house requires up keep and the commitment of many volunteers.  Pat Thompson is oraninzing the Curb Appeal Committee to clean up the grounds and asses the needs of the exterior of the Museum.

Where ever your interests might lie, the SAHS would welcome your ideas and expertise.  To volunteer or become a member, email the SAHS at senoiaareahistoricalsociety@gmail.com.
